The Arctic Light Hotel is a contemporary hotel situated in the heart of Lapland-Rovaniemi. The family owned hotel is easy to reach by plane, car and train and is only steps away from the main activity providers in the city and the major shopping and cultural areas.
The 1950’s building and former City Hall of Rovaniemi has been converted into a stylish hotel and opened its doors during spring 2015. This urban Arctic hideaway offers a unique combination of Lappish heritage and the ultimate in contemporary style.

In each of the 57 bespoke guest rooms, which include 4 themed suites and 6 Aurora lofts, Arctic wildlife is glamorously reinvented for the 21st Century traveller. The guests rooms are beautifully appointed and come with all the comfort guests would expect from a family owned hotel on the Arctic Circle.
Each guest room is uniquely designed with a burst of creative grandeur, whether it is an intricate chandelier or bespoke oversized nature inspired “dynamic wallpaper”. Iconic arctic animals gaze down from the walls, permeating the rooms with a sense of Arctic nature.
All of our hotel rooms are fully equipped with the latest technology and conveniences, such as LCD TVs complete with a wide variety of international channels, air-conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Design toiletries, bathrobes and slippers are provided in each of our bathrooms.
