Aurora Cabins – gaze at the arctic sky from the comfort of your bed!

Imagine spending the whole night under the open sky, but in a warm bed. In our Aurora Cabins you are always in position to see the sky, so you have a great chance to witness the Auroras shimmering and dancing above. Just pour a glass of wine and admire the view with your loved one – in complete comfort and privacy.

People describe a night in the Aurora Cabin as one of the most unique holiday experiences you can have. You can truly sense the arctic nature and space opening up above and around you. The highlight of the cabin is the panorama glass roof, which is heated, and stays clear of frost and snow at all times.

Aurora Cabins are equipped with a double bed and two extra beds under the glass roof, a private bathroom with a shower and toilet and a complimentary wifi.

Lappish KOMSIO Suite

Step inside and fall in love into the real Lappish luxury!

KOMSIO Suite is Apukka Resort’s very own design, cozy, but luxurious accommodation that originates from the ancient culture of Lapland.

KOMSIO means a traditional Sámi cradle, where small children were put to sleep like in a safe, warm nest. In our KOMSIO Suite, you can have the same feeling now, when sleeping under the starry sky in the extraordinary bed section specially designed for this unique accommodation.

This is the most innovative yet still traditional Lappish overnight experience with a full 360-view to the arctic nature, straight from your bed.

KOMSIO Suites are equipped with a twin bed, a convertable sofa and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. 

Aurora Wagons

Spend a night exactly on the Arctic Circle, on a snowy hilltop or on a frozen lake, in Aurora Wagon!

The Aurora Wagon is absolutely the most spectacular and atmospheric way to experience being in the middle of the Arctic wilderness – exclusively available at Apukka! The wagon presents a great chance to enjoy the Northern Lights! Imagine looking at the starry sky through the panorama window, waiting for the show on the sky to start from the comfort of the wagon while enjoying a hot drink – or even a glass of sparkling?

Kindly note: Aurora Wagon is a special accommodation unit, and not located right next to the Resort or other accommodation of Apukka. There is a toilet, but no shower in the wagon. A morning sauna at the Resort is included. The check-in time is at 20.00, the check-out and transfer back to the Resort from the Wagon is at 08.00. A delicacy basket for the Wagon and a buffet breakfast in the restaurant the next morning is included.

In Apukka, you can feel like you’re in the middle of the movie Frozen by spending the night in one of our Ice Cabins. As the name suggests, they are built from logs that are 100% pure ice. If you want to go home with an unbelievable story to tell, look no further. Our Ice Cabins are truly unique, and available only in Apukka Resort.

Villa Apukka

Villa Apukka offers accommodation in a beautiful, solid stone house with high-quality, Scandinavian-style furnishings.

This historical house, built in 1948, is located in the midst of nature, next to the lake, yet close to all Apukka Resort services.Villa Apukka is ideal for group of friends or families with children. You’ll have the whole house and its big yard in your private use, so you can really enjoy your stay with intimate comfort. This private villa turns easily into a meeting venue, and with a special decoration and set-up, it can be also a venue for any private occasion for groups up to 30 persons.

Villa Apukka is 230 m2 large with 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious lounge, kitchen and the dining room with fireplace. This house is situated only some 70-80 meters from our resort main building
