Jive to the Five with the huskies
After dressing up warmly, a short car ride takes you to the authentic Finnish Husky kennel. The 5km trail runs over the frozen
lands and swamps and the pure nature of Sea Lapland. A brief introduction is given on how to drive a dogsled safely. This is a
self-driving safari where one is mushing and the other one sits in the sled. Half way you can change the musher if you want.
Children always ride in the parents’ sled. After your ride, enjoy warm beverages while learning more about the everyday life with
the Alaskan huskies. And of course you can pet the dogs and take photos with them.

Booking:
The reservations should be made preferably 2 days in advance.
Program is organised with min. 2 attendants (min. 2adults).
You will be picked up by Taxari Travel guide from your hotel in Kemi/Tornio.
Children:
Child discount is applicable for 3-11 year olds.
In husky safari programs children under 12 years will travel in a sledge as passenger. Two children can be put in a sleigh at the same time.
Guiding:
Safaris and excursions are guided in English/Finnish, other languages upon request the guide picks you up from your hotel (Kemi or Tornio).
Insurance:
Personal travel insurance is recommended.
Thermal clothing:
Safari guests will be equipped with thermal clothing: overalls, boots and socks, undercaps and gloves.
Weather conditions:
Excursions are subject to change due to weather conditions. As a responsible tour operator Taxari Travel Agency Ltd reserves the right to change the routing, pricing and the duration of the excursions without prior notice.
Pricing:
All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include Finland’s Value Added Tax.
Confirmation:
When the reservation is confirmed proforma invoice will be charged. Reservation is confirmed when the payment is made.
In case the payment is not received in due date, we have the right to cancel the reservation.
Terms of payment:
100% deposit to be charged when confirming the booking.
Cancellation rules:
More than 31 days prior to arrival – 10% reservation fee to be charged.
30-14 days prior the arrival: 50% from the total amount to be charged.
Less than 14 days prior the arrival: 100% from the total amount to be charged.
