Hotel Olof opened in November 2014 in premises of a previous bank, located in the heart of Tornio. A year later, due to increased amount of unique rooms, established as a boutique hotel.
The history of Tornio city and the building itself are both strongly present in the hotel. Rooms are decorated with exclusive photo wallpapers that are made of pictures taken by Reino Kainulainen, acquired from museum of Tornionlaakso. Depending on your room you can see the ‘old bridge’ from 1954, an old invalid cafeteria (now restaurant Umpitunneli) or the corner of Hotel Olof from 1960.
The hotel has a river view. During winter time you can admire the frozen lake from the window or experience it by walking, skiing or even ice fishing. In spring the ice run is a gorgeous sight and in the summer the flowing blue water is a definitely sight for a sore eye.

Check-in at after 3:00PM and Check-out before 12:00PM. Changes can be agreed upon beforehand.

Nordic inspired breakfast is served Monday- Friday 6:30AM- 10:00 AM and Weekends 8:00AM-11:00AM.
If the room is exceptionally dirty we can send an additional invoice to the customer based on hourly cleaning fee.
Parking is free on common places nearby the hotel. For 12 € you can use the warm parking hall of the hotel.
Hotel Olof has 16 hotel rooms and 14 suites. The rooms have air-condition and free WiFi.
Breakfast is included in all room prices.
The rooms have high quality Finnish beds, that ensure excellent sleep. The rooms are well- equipped and they have a television, hair dryer and a selection of spa- products.
