You’ll find cottages 15 kilometres north of the town of Haparanda on the Tome River. The tourist centre is tight on the river in an historic fishing area. People still fish for whitefish using the same type of long-handle nets used in the seventeenth century. During the summer you can try your hand at the noble art of fishing with these special nets with the help of one of our guides. And any fish you catch are yours to eat.
You can choose to stay in hotel standard cabins or at camping in a caravan or in a tent. The cabins hold 4-6 guests and are equipped with TV, Wi-Fi Internet, a toilet, shower and kitchenette.
